PLEASE SAVE THE DATE! Connected Lane County is organizing a countywide Career Exploration event, which is scheduled to take place October 12th 2017 at Lane County Fairgrounds. This event is open to 8th and 9th graders, and takes place from 9am-11:30am.

This is an opportunity for students to learn more about employment with local companies in industries such as technology, manufacturing, financial, and healthcare. Students will also have the opportunity to learn about post-secondary pathways to their chosen career, participate in a mock interview, and hear from local skills panel!

Please note, Thursday, October 12th 2017 is a no school day for the Fern Ridge School District, however, a school bus will be transporting students to and from the event. A Parent/Guardian will be responsible for dropping off and picking up their child from EHS before and after the event. Students will need to be dropped off at the front of EHS at 8:20am and picked-up at the front of EHS at Noon.

If your child would like to participate in this amazing opportunity please turn in the completed permission form to your child’s school counselor by Friday, October 6th. You may pick up permission forms in the Counseling Center at EHS or from Mr. Chambers at FRMS.
