Registration for the 2019-20 school year is fast approaching.  Please refer to the schedule below for your registration time.  In addition to registering for classes you can also pay course fees and get your school picture taken.  Registration will take place in the cafeteria.  Please follow this schedule for registration:

Wednesday, August 21

Seniors:  8:00 – 11:00 AM

Sophomores:  1:00 – 4:00 PM

Thursday, August 22

Juniors:  1:00 – 4:00 PM

Freshman:  5:00 – 8:00 pm

If you cannot make your designated time you can stop by the main office at any time beginning on Friday, August 23rd.

Elmira High School will be hosting our annual Athletic Registration Night on Monday, August 12th from 5:30-7:00 PM.  This is a chance for you to meet your coach, pay your fees and get assistance with signing up on-line with Family ID.  We are excited for the beginning of the fall sports season and hope you can join us on Monday night.

Elmira High School and Dr. Shane Gofourth are offering a sports physical clinic at EHS on Wednesday, August 7th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.  The cost is $20 and no appointment is necessary.

Fall sports are just around the corner and families can now register and pay for the fall season on Family ID.  Elmira High School began using Family ID last year to simplify the sign up process and make it possible to complete from home.  If you are interested in a fall sport and would like to get your student registered at this time please use the link below to get started.  If you have any questions you can contact our Athletic Secretary, Julie Bothel at 541-935-8200  or mailto:jbothel@fernridge.k12.or.us


There is still space and time to sign up for the Strong Start program beginning on August 5th.  Incoming 9th graders can get some great information about what to expect in high school with guidance from current EHS students.  Please review the attached flyer if you are interested.

Elmira High School is pleased to announce the return of our summer Strong Start program.  This is a free four day program designed to give incoming 9th graders a jump start on their high school experience.  It is lead by Mrs. Krin Hunt a math teacher at Elmira and several student mentors who will guide the students through a variety of lessons and fun activities geared to help make the transition to high school happen smoothly.  The dates for Strong Start are August 5-8 from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.  Please look at the attached flyer for additional details.

Elmira High School will hold its 105th Commencement Exercises on Friday, June 7th at 7:00 PM in the main gymnasium.  Please join us that evening as we say good bye to another great group of seniors.

Elmira High School’s Annual 8th Grade Fly Up is Thursday, May 30th.  The evening will begin with a BBQ dinner in the cafeteria at 6:30, at 7:00 we will have separate presentations for parents and students.  Please see the attached flyer for additional information.  We hope that you can join us on May 30th to learn about all of the great things EHS has to offer.
