Sorry last week didn’t get updated. Since most teachers (including myself) didn’t have access to any of our online documents, I had to spend most of my time re-creating my lessons. Now the documents are back – and so am I!

AP Lit: We have started reading “Wuthering Heights” by Emily Bronte. There is a vocabulary test this Friday
Science Fiction: We are continuing to read “Frankenstein” in class. There is a vocabulary test this Thursday
English 1B: We are continuing our study of poetry. There is a vocabulary test on Thursday
Contemporary Lit: We are reading Parts 3 and 4 (the end) of “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”

This week is the final week for Boys and Girls Basketball. EHS is at Siuslaw Tuesday night, and Thursday night we are home for Senior Night! Come out and show your support as we take on the Marshfield Pirates!

Falcon basketball has two games this week, both at home. Tuesday we play Junction City, and Friday we play Cottage Grove. Let’s pack the Falcon’s Nest for those games! Games begin at 4:15 pm.
The final will be on both “The Odyssey” and “The House on Mango Street”
Poetry: We will be sharing our song lyrics this week and analyzing them together in class. Homework is to write your own rap song (due Tuesday). There is a list of terms to know for the final:
