72 hours until the 12th Annual VES School Auction

It’s hard to believe that the VES Auction is only 72 hours from now. Everyone is invited and we hope you will join us for a fun evening and help us raise money for our school. The doors will open at 4:30. Tables for the silent auction will start closing at 5:30. The oral auction starts at 7:00. There will be a gourmet bake sale all evening long. It will be your last chance to buy a ticket for  our raffle giving away a Kindle Fire HDX  plus tons of other wonderful items.  We will also have a special 50-50 raffle that night. And have you heard? We have doubled the door prizes. So instead of just giving away one $100 gift card to Winco to one person, we will now give away a second $100 gift card to a second lucky winner. That’s double the chances of winning. The door prizes will be given out at the end of the evening and you must be present to win. We sent home on Monday a coupon that gives you a second door prize ticket if you bring it with you on Saturday night.

Free child care will be provided with entertainment aimed just for the kids including face painting, balloon animals, and more.

There are tons of great items for sale including a new set of golf clubs, class projects, a lunch for your child with their favorite staff member, Principal for a Day, tickets to Disneyland, Fun In The Sun baskets, gardening baskets, beautiful artwork, fantastic handcrafted items, a chainsaw, bull calves, landscaping, compost, wine, treats, and much, much more.

Credit cards will be accepted. All funds raised go towards our parent group, Parent Action League for Students or PALS. PALS does many wonderful things for our school throughout the year including paying for field trips, paying for our music teacher, providing play ground equipment, paying for assemblies, helping with Outdoor School costs, providing the inflatable obstacle course at Field Day, helping to provide teachers with additional materials, and helping to our school a more positive learning environment for our kids.

Please come Saturday night and support our school. Bring your families and friends. It will be a fun night for the best cause ever- our kids.
