The Seneca Scholarship awards a $10,000 scholarship to one graduating high school senior, and one college undergraduate in Oregon.

Every senior is eligible to apply!!

We created these scholarships to be non-exclusive and non-biased. A student struggling to pass their classes has equal opportunity to these scholarships as a student on the honor roll. We will choose our recipients based solely on a 5-7-page research essay on forest management. The scholarship does not restrict the student to any specific program, major or college in the United States.

This application incentivizes students to research and learn about the forest management practices happening in Oregon. Oregonians experienced the devastation of over one million acres of timberland burn this year. We know this is an important subject and a great time to look learn what is being done, and what more we could be doing. We would love for the students of Oregon to understand what surrounds them, appreciating the historic significance while also looking at the horizon to support a healthy ecology as well as renewable resources infinitely into the future.
