Elmira High School will not be in session on Friday, October 7th.  Please remember that attendance from the previous day is used for athletic eligibility for that Friday.

Elmira High School is very excited to announce that two of our students, Andrew Johnson and Lucy Mitchem have been recognized as National Merit Commended Students by the College Board.  This honor recognizes them for being among the top 50,000 students out of the millions that took the PSAT in the fall of 2021.  This is a tremendous honor and we are very proud of these two students for their academic accomplishments.  Congratulations Andrew and Lucy!!

Elmira High School will be hosting our annual Open House on Wednesday, September 21st at 6:00 PM.  We are excited to invite families to campus on that evening to see what is happening at EHS this year and to meet with our teachers.  If you have any questions please call the front office at 541-935-8200.

Due to the planned power outage, weather concerns and air quality issues, tomorrow’s Booster Club Bingo. Bites and Brews Fundraiser has been postponed to a later date.  We will provide make up information about this event as soon as we have that information.

Join the Booster Club on September 10th for a night of Oregon Football, a Cornhole Tourney, and a Silent Auction.

Doors (and the kid zone!) open at 4 pm

Wednesday, September 7th is the first day of school for all grades.  Please note that like all Wednesdays during the year this is an early release day with a 1:30 PM dismissal.

We look forward to welcoming our students back next week and are excited for a great school year.
