P.E.

physical_education_button_copy

Our class has 25 minutes of P.E. on Monday and Thursday mornings.  We start by warming up our bodies with some fun locomotor movements, stretches, push-ups, and sit-ups.  Then we play some type of game that uses certain skills and teamwork.  We really emphasize good sportsmanship and participation.

Students receive report card grades in the areas of physical skill and effort, as well as behavior marks in group interaction and respect.

Please make sure students wear appropriate attire to school on P.E. days (athletic shoes and clothing that is easy to move in).   Also, it’s always a great idea for students to practice the stretches and activities we learn at home too!
