On Tuesday, we completed p.84 in the workbook during class. On Wednesday, we took notes over “hacer” with expressions of time and completed p.85 in the workbook (if you didn’t finish, the rest was homework). Today, we went over p.85 in the workbook and were introduced to a new tense in Spanish called the “subjunctive.” You received a handout on it and also came up with a creative sentence that pertained to someone on giving them advice (the subjunctive is used for giving advice/recommendations, hopes, wishes, etc. because there is uncertainty/doubt on whether the other person will take the advice or recommendation). Parts of workbook pages 86-88 were assigned and due Monday (p.86 act.13 and 15–speaking one; p.87 act.16 (just verb) and either 17 or 18 and on p.88 activities 19 and 20. Keep working hard (will start the partner “How to” project next week).
