Blachly-Lane Electric Cooperative Scholarships: One $1,600 college scholarship and One $1,600 lineworker or vocational scholarship, Due 4/1/21!

Due to the pandemic, Blachly-Lane’s Board of Directors has authorized two $1,600 educational/vocational scholarships in lieu of the cancelled NRECA Youth Tour in 2021. The scholarships are for graduating high school seniors. One scholarship will be awarded to a student furthering their studies at a university or college this fall. One scholarship will be awarded to a student entering vocational school, with preference given to students enrolling in VOLTA Line School. The applicant’s parent or legal guardian must be a Blachly-Lane member with an active account, and the applicant must live in the home of the member parent/guardian.

• Applications and accompanying documents must be submitted to BLEC by email to spettelp@blec.coop or mail to
  90680 Hwy 99 N, Eugene, OR 97402.
• Applications must be received no later than 5:30 p.m.,
  Thursday, April 1, 2021.
• Late applications will not be accepted.
• Funds will be disbursed once proof of enrollment is received. Once received, scholarship funds will be
  sent directly to the college, vocational, or lineworker school in the student’s name
