The Friends of the Fern Ridge Library are sponsoring at least two $500 scholarships for high school seniors graduating in the class of 2021. Applicants must live in, or attend school in, the Fern Ridge Library District. Students who volunteer at the Fern Ridge Library may also apply. Applicants must have a 3.0 or higher grade point average as of the end of the fall semester of their senior year.
Applications are available on the library’s website (www.fernridgelibrary.org/friends) and through Elmira High School. Applications must be returned to the Fern Ridge Library, 88026 Territorial Rd., Veneta by Tuesday, March 30 at 5 pm. The mailing address is PO Box 397, Veneta 97487.
