8th Grade Shadow Days:
From May 23rd through May 31st 8th grade students will be going to the high school to shadow a 9th grade student. Each 8th grade student will spend one morning at EHS, travelling to different classes, getting to know teachers, and getting an opportunity to experience high school. We are excited to have the 8th graders visit the high school and feel that this will be a positive experience as they begin the transition from middle school to high school. They will be departing FRMS around 8:30 and returning to FRMS around 11:00 AM.
We will be transporting students to and from the middle school via district mini-buses. If for some reason you do not want your student to attend, please click on the link below, sign the reverse permission form, and return it to school. If you would like your student attending their shadow day you do not need to respond.
Students will be attending in groups according to their homeroom teacher:
Julie Coffman’s Homeroom: May 23
Martha Pryor’s Homeroom May 28
Marian French’s Homeroom May 29
Justin Peeler’s Homeroom May 30
Sarah Wartenbee’s Homeroom May 31st
Sincerely,
Rick Gardner and Olivia Johnson
Principals, Elmira High School and Fern Ridge Middle School
