Choir and Band Winter Concerts

Fern Ridge Middle School would like to invite you to two very special events featuring performances from our FRMS choir and band students.

First, our FRMS Choir will be performing at Elmira High School on Wednesday, December 11th as part of their Winter Concert. Our choir will be performing on their own and in a joint performance with EHS students. The concert will start at 7:00 PM, but choir students should be there by 6:30.

Second, our FRMS band students will be performing at our Band Winter Concert here at FRMS on December 18th. The performance starts at 7:00 PM but the band students should plan on arriving at 6:30 PM.

All of our students have been working hard to prepare for their concerts, so we ask that parents and family members support our students by following the guidelines below:

• While the performance is in progress, please remain seated and
  quiet. (If it becomes necessary to leave the auditorium, please
  do so between musical selections.)
•  Please do not allow younger children to run around the gym or the commons during the concert.
• If younger children are in the commons during the performance, they need to be supervised by an adult.
• Show your appreciation for the performance by clapping after each selection.
• Please do not talk on cell phones during the performance.
• All of our students have worked hard getting ready for this performance. Out of respect for their hard work, please, if at all possible, plan on staying for the entire concert.
• Thanks to all the parents of our music students that show their support throughout the year, and during these performances.
• Thank you to Mr. Siegal and Mrs. Franklin for their hard work in helping our students prepare for their performances.
