We are committed to helping to support our students and their families with Distance Learning. We know that these are tough books and an appletimes, that distance learning is not easy for students or families, and that we have to work together and help each other through this. Our  goal is that our students stay healthy and safe, that the well-being of families and students is as important as academic learning, and that students stay connected  to their teachers, to each other and to our school community.

To that end we want to remind students and families of the following:

FRMS has started drop-in tutoring after school Tuesdays thru Thursdays from 2:30 to 3:00 in Social Studies, Language Arts, and Math. No appointment is necessary. Your student just needs to follow the link in the Google Classroom and there will be a teacher waiting to help. Science teachers are available during this time by appointment. For more details click here: Drop In Tutoring

FRMS teachers are are also available to help before school (8:00 to 8:20) or after school (2:30 to 3:45) and can be reached by email or by phone. Click here for a complete list of FRMS Staff extensions and emails

Families are also welcome to call the school office to reach our teachers, our counselor, or our principal and assistant principal. Ms. Johnson, Mr. Carman, and Mr. Chambers can also be contacted by phone or by email during the school. We will return your call or email at our earliest convenience. Our extensions and emails are included in the list above.

We are in the process of finalizing plans for our Open House and Parent Conferences. Parent Conferences will be via Zoom and by  appointment. We will have two evening conferences on the 26th and 29th. More information, including  how to make an appointment for a conference, will come out on Monday the 19th. Our Open House is tentatively scheduled for the 22nd. It will include a virtual Q and A with Ms. Johnson, Mr. Carman, and Mr. Chambers as well as video presentations from teachers giving you more information about classroom policies and procedures.

FRMS Q and A sessions will resume next week. Next week’s Q and A will be folded into our Virtual Open House. Watch for more  information on the website Monday.
