Our Staff Vs Student Basketball Game was a total blast! We had lots of fun! Whether it was the basketball game, the dodgeball game, the three point shots, the raffles, or the egg breaking the event was filled with cheers, laughter, and just having fun together as a school community. Plus we raised $2420 for student activities! Thank you so much to all of our students and their families who came last night.

A special thank you to the FRMS Choir for a beautiful rendition of the national anthem; to the 8th grade boys and girls who played in the basketball game; to all of the students who lead the cheers; to the leadership students who organized, planned, helped run the event, and stayed to clean up after; to FRMS staff who were awesome as usual helping in a multitude of ways; to Lisa Leatham and Michelle Marshall for coaching; to Ian Cooper and Brad Davis for being our referees; to Callie Johnson for collecting donations from the crowd; and to Gary Carpenter for announcing.

Thank you also to our community and parent volunteers: Maya Trout, Sam Yliz, Frank Pew, Sarah Inman, and Kingston.

Thank you to Maya Trout for donating the trophy, Candy Christiance for donating the pom poms, and Korbin  Graham-Doolin for donating the sword.

Thank you also to the EHS welding class for their great work on the plaque and sword for our “crowning” ceremony.

Thank you to the following businesses for their support: Grocery Outlet, The Frost Queen, Our Daily Bakery, Dairy Queen, Ray’s, Winco, Sweet Life and Wal Mart.

However the biggest thanks of all go to Jacob Newman and Heather Hohnstein who led the charge to make this event happen. Their planning and hardwork over the last few months definitely paid off last night.
