First Week of School Reminders

Welcome to the start of another great school year at Fern Ridge Middle School. We want to welcome our new students and welcome back our returning students. We are excited about the coming school year. Just a few reminders:
Tuesday, September 6th– Sixth Grade Only Attend. 7th and 8th grade stay home. Students only need to bring their planner with their locker combination.
Wednesday, September 7th– Seventh and Eighth Grade Only. 6th grade stays home. Students only need to bring their planner with their locker combination.
Thursday, September 8th– All students attend. Students should bring their backpacks and school supplies on this date.

Other reminders:
1. Doors open at 8:00. Breakfast is served to all students from 8:00 to 8:25. Class starts at 8:30.
2. Breakfast is free to all this year, but lunch is not unless you qualify for free or reduced lunch. Please contact food services if you are not sure if you qualify.
3. Dismissal on a regular day is 3:10. On early release Wednesdays the day ends at 1:22.
4. Students will get their final schedules on their first day of school. Please be aware that schedules are subject to change as we make last minute adjustments before Tuesday.
5. On Tuesday and Wednesday students will be in orientation groups for the day. Orientation groups will be posted so students can find what group they are in when they arrive their first day.

Please don’t hesitate to call if you have questions or concerns. The FRMS office will be open from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM Tuesday the 6th.
