FRMS is happy to announce that we now have a drop off lane for the morning arrival time. Please follow the drop off lane from Territorial to the drop off point which is marked with a line (see picture below). From the drop off point, students can use the crosswalk to the school sidewalk. It is important that parents pull all the way forward to the drop off point before letting their middle school student out. Our goal is to eliminate the chaos and confusion in the morning that happens when cars stop midway and traffic backs up onto Territorial. This is the new drop off lane coming in from Territorial.
The drop off lane turns to the right into the second section of the parking lot. Just follow the arrow on the sign and curve around to the drop off point.
Here is the drop off point where your middle school student should disembark. It is important to follow the lane and pull all the way to the drop off point. We don’t want to have cars backed up on Territorial so we need families to drop off at the end of the drop off lane- not the beginning or the middle. Thanks.
Here is the crosswalk students will use after getting out of the car at the drop off point. This crosswalk has been repainted and broadened to ensure student safety in crossing in front of buses.
During both arrival (7:50- 8:20) and pickup/dismissal times , the bus lane is for buses only. For student safety, we need to keep cars separate from the buses.
