Auction Update

We are weeks away from our 12th annual auction and we need your help. Our auction is Saturday, April 26th and the theme is Candy Land. It is our main fundraiser for the school year and helps to make it possible for our students to go on field trips, enjoy assemblies, get new playground equipment, and more. There are many, many ways that parents and family members can help this year’s auction be our most successful one yet.

1. Help your child sell raffle tickets to family and friends. The grand prize for the raffle is a Kindle Fire and there are other great prizes as well. Tickets are $1 for one ticket, $5 for 6 tickets, $10 for 13 tickets, and $20 for 30 tickets. There are also great prizes available for students who sell raffle tickets including a field trip to the park for students who raise $50, a movie theater “drive-in” for those who raise $100, and lazer tag or cosmic bowling with the principal for those who raise $200. All prizes are cumulative so students who sell more than $200 will get each of the great student prizes. The raffle ticket contest ends April 11th.

2. Bring in items for your class theme basket. We are asking parents to contribute to the theme baskets in each classroom. You can bring something small or something big, all items are gratefully accepted. Each grade level has their own theme. Kindergarten: Arts and Crafts, First: Family Fun Night, Second Grade: Cats and Dogs, Third Grade: Camping, Fourth: Fun in the Sun, and Fifth Grade: Gardening.

3. Ask family or friends who own businesses to make a donation to our auction. We accept all donations of any size. Everything helps.

4. Come to the auction on Saturday the 26th. It will be a lot of fun. Doors Open at 4:30. Free Child Care. Credit Cards Accepted. Plus a $100 gift card to Winco will be given away as a door prize at the end of the evening. You must be present to win the door prize.
