KITS Registration Closes June 10th

  Fern Ridge School District still has space in their KITS (Kids In Transition To School) Program for this summer and fall. Open to students who will be enrolled in kindergarten in either Elmira or Veneta Elementary Schools this fall, KITS helps to strengthen academic, social, and emotional skills to help students  be successful in school. In addition to working with students, KITS also works with parents through a parent support group which will offer strategies and ideas for parents to help their child transition into school.

KITS classes will take place either 9 AM to 11 AM  or 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Tuesdays and Thursdays during the summer from July 5th to August 25th. In the fall, KITS meets once a week on Mondays from 2:30 to 4:30. The parent group meets once a week during the summer, and every other week during the fall. Childcare and refreshments are provided at no cost during the parent group. Snacks are provided to the students during the KITS session.
