Veneta Elementary Kindergarten Information Night March 21st

Parents of students who will be entering kindergarten in September are invited to Veneta Elementary School’s Kindergarten Information Night on Tuesday, March 21st. There will be a presentation and Q/A session, Kindergarten Exploration time, and even a chance to tour Veneta Elementary School. The schedule for the night is listed below:

6:30 to 7:15 PM What to Expect and How to Prepare for Kindergarten Presentation and Q/A- Session One in Room 1

7:15 to 8 PM What to Expect and How to Prepare for Kindergarten Presentation and Q/A- Session Two in Room 1

6:20 to 8:00 PM Kindergarten Exploration Zone in Rm 2. Incoming kindergarten students and their families are invited to “explore” what kindergarten is like through hands-on activities including curriculum displays, using manipulatives, looking at books and puzzles, creating art projects. Families can visit the Kindergarten Exploration Zone after the first presentation or before the second one, depending upon which they attend.

A short school tour will take place at 6:00 for families who have never visited Veneta Elementary before.

Information will be provided to families on how to sign their child up for our KITS program this summer as well as how to complete the online registration process to enroll their child in our school.

Please come, bring your questions, and find out more about our kindergarten program. Childcare will be available for the time when parents are in the presentation sessions. Children are welcome in the Kindergarten Exploration Zone.
