The highlight of our Reading Celebration is our Reading Contest. Each student is asked to read each day and track their reading on the tally sheet that will come home on Friday. The student in each classroom who reads the most minutes will receive a gift certificate to the Spring Book Fair in April. Students can read books or newspapers or magazines. They can also have parents or siblings read to them. Or they can read to a sibling or parent. Every student who returns their Tally sheet will receive an “I Love Reading” pencil. Tally sheets are due March 19th.
