The District Insurance Committee has elected to change carriers for medical and vision from Health Net to PacificSource and United Heritage for life, accidental death & dismemberment, and long-term disability. Also, the decision was made to discontinue the $500 Deductible Plan. New this year, Employees have the ability to purchase additional life insurance for Employees, Spouse and Dependents as well as Short-Term Disability for the employee. In order to offer these two additions, we must have 25% participation. The new out of pocket amounts take effect in September.
Open Enrollment is your annual opportunity to choose the health plan that works best for you, beginning on September 1, 2018 and ending September 30, 2017. Once Open Enrollment ends, no plan changes can be made until the next Open Enrollment period unless you experience a qualifying event. For more information, click here.
