OBOB gives students a chance to compete in an academic setting. Students form teams and work together to read and understand 16 books.
The Dominators, Iris Frome, James Stratten, Trevor Pierson, Colton Barklow and Caylee Farrar beat out 8 other tough Elmira Elementary teams for the opportunity to show off their reading ability and skills Saturday at North Eugene High School. They represented Elmira well this past weekend.
The Dominators cruised through pool play, picking up 103 points and tying for 1st seed. They continued to battle until being eliminated in the quarter finals.
We are super proud of the Dominators and all of our OBOB teams at Elmira Elementary.
Elmira Elementary would also like to give a special THANK YOU to 5th grade teacher, Alisa Johnson, for all of her hard work coordinating and organizing OBOB for us!

Open Enrollment For 2017-2018 School Year!
March 1, 2017 – April 1, 2017
The open enrollment process provides an additional method of school choice for Oregon students which allows them to apply for a permanent admission to a school district. Non-resident students may apply to transfer from their resident district to attend Fern Ridge School District through the open enrollment process.
Interested non-resident students must submit a completed Fern Ridge School District Open Enrollment form to the Fern Ridge School District Office beginning March 1, 2017 and closing on April 1, 2017 at 4:00 p.m.
Accepted applicants will be notified if your request is approved around May 1, 2017. For further information contact the Superintendent’s Office at 541-935-2253 ext. 1203.
