We are excited to welcome the 24-25 kinders to EES! Below is the registration link along with directions. Families will still need to come in person during fall registration.

It’s August and that means getting ready for back to school! Below, you will find our 2018-2019 Parent Communication Document. It is very similar to last year, so don’t worry about signing up for Remind or subscribing to the EES website if you have already done so : ) Please do share with new families or those that may not be signed up!

Registration for 2018-2019 School Year
It’s not too early to start thinking about registration for our upcoming school year! Returning student registration will look a little different for the 2018-2019 school year. Letters will be mailed home this week that will provide you with information regarding online registration. Families will be able to register online or come into the school during registration dates. Please remember you will still need to come in at registration and fill out transportation information.

For incoming kindergarten and new students please bring:
Copy of birth certificate
Proof of residency
Current immunization data

Wednesday, August 15th (New students/Kindergarten) 7:00 am to 7:00pm
Tuesday, August 21st (All students) 7:00am to 7:00pm
Wednesday, August 22nd (All students) 8:00am to 3:00pm
Thursday, August 23rd (All students) 8:00am to 12:00pm

As summer comes to a close and school begins next week, I would like to thank families for their patience while EES continues in the construction process. As many of you are aware, we will be transitioning into the new building over Winter Break. Until then, we will have to be both patient and flexible with everyone involved.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING BUSES:
1. We will utilize the front of our current EES building for the buses.
2. Buses will be double stacked, the first bus in line will pull completely forward.
3. There will be NO PARENT DROP OFF OR PARKING in our “old” lots.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING PARENT DROP-OFF/PICKUP: 
- Parents will use the NEW EES parking lot for a “drop-off” loop.
- Please stay to the right and pull as far forward as possible.
- Continue forward through the loop and exit.
- Parents may also park in the NEW EES parking lot and walk students into the building.

The Fern Ridge Faith Center is holding their Annual End of Summer Block Party on Saturday, August 20th, 11am-3pm at Fern Ridge Middle School. In addition to food and fun games, they will be giving away school supplies for families in need. For more information contact the Fern Ridge Faith Center at 541-935-8859.
St Vincent De Paul Society of Lane County is holding their annual school supply giveaway on August 31st at SVDP’s Lindholm Center, 456 Highway 99 North in Eugene. For details about their Backpacks for Back To School program, contact them at 541-689-6747 ext. 203.

The 2016-2017 school year begins with a normal day of classes on Tuesday, September 6th for grades 1-5. Kindergarten students will be on a soft-start schedule.
Registration dates have been posted and reminders will be posted later in the summer as well.
