Elmira Elementary participates in the CATCH program. The first Wednesday of each month is CATCH day! Students can order a CATCH shirt with the order form or by visiting this site.

The CATCH program provides a proven and easy to implement action plan for:
- Teaching children to make healthy choices; and
- Creating a school environment that encourages healthy eating and physical activity.
The CATCH program provides in-depth materials for administrators, classrooms teachers, Child Nutrition Services staff members, physical educators, as well as other school staff members, and families to work together to create and maintain a healthy learning environment. CATCH works well with the WSCC model through its holistic approach to create a supportive environment in which healthy behaviors are not only taught, but also encouraged and supported.
