As we have already shared (in a previous post), there is an opportunity for students 16 and older to sign up for a Pfizer vaccine at LCC this weekend, April 24th and 25th from 9:00-3:00 pm at LCC. This clinic is by appointment only, please go to http://lanecounty.org/vaxclinics to schedule your vaccine. The district is not involved in this opportunity at all, we are just sharing the information.
NEW OPPORTUNITY: On Thursday, April 29th, EHS has 60 slots for students at the Bethel Health Clinic to receive the Pfizer vaccine. This will be a “field trip” for the first 60 students that sign up. Students need to be 16+ years old, and MUST HAVE signed parent permission slip. Sign-ups take place beginning tomorrow morning. Once the 60 slots are filled, we close registration. Below is the important information:
WHEN: Students must be at EHS on Thursday, April 29th prepared to load a school bus at 8:15. The bus will leave by 8:25. We expect the bus to return between 10:30 and 10:45.
WHERE: We will be going to the Bethel Health Clinic on the Willamette H.S. campus.
WHAT: Students will receive the first of 2 COVID-19 Pfizer vaccines. The 2nd dose appointment will be scheduled 21 days later, on Thursday, May 20th, also from 9-10 AM. We we will have the same procedure in place for the transportation/field trip.
PERMISSION SLIP: In order to board the bus, a signed parent permission slip is required. The permission slips will be available to the students that signed up, in the EHS front office, beginning tomorrow.
HOW DO I SIGN UP?: Sign-ups begin at 7:30 AM, tomorrow morning, April 23rd! You can sign up by coming to the front office at EHS, or by calling the EHS office beginning at 7:30 AM at 541-935-8200. If calling, DO NOT leave a message. We will have three people taking calls. If the line is busy, continue to try. The information needed to sign up include, Student Name–Parent name–Parent Contact number.
