- Main Gym – volleyball, basketball (if allowed) and wrestling (if allowed)
- Football/Soccer Field – football and soccer
- We do not have cameras available to stream softball, baseball, or track events for Season 3.
- Once our cameras are up and running, we will let parents know.

We appreciate your patience and enthusiasm. Please remember at this time due to our county risk levels and requirements from OHA, ODE, and OSAA, there are NO spectators allowed at football games, no visiting spectators, and limited spectators at home volleyball and soccer games ONLY at this time.
Attached is the RYLA application for Sophomores and Juniors. RYLA stands for “Rotary Youth Leadership Academy.” The deadline is March 15th. Please fill it out if you’re interested and submit it ASAP. It’s very important for those wanting to lead, go to college and for any scholarships. It’s a great opportunity for students and it’s free to attend. If you have questions please email Ms. Hackett, Interact Advisor at SHackett@fernridge.k12.or.us or join the Interact Club Zoom at 11:15-11:45 each Thursday.
We will be hosting a parent Q & A about our return to school on Thursday, February 25th at 6:00 PM. Please use the attached link if you wish to attend.
Attached below are the designated A and B blocks for EHS students when we return the week of March 2-5. As a reminder we are only allowing changes to align with younger siblings at the elementary and middle school.
We are starting to field some calls about changing from one block to the other. Please be aware that the only reason we will accommodate these requests is to match up with a younger sibling at an elementary school or the middle school. All other requests (jobs, desire to be with a friend, preferred days, etc.) cannot be accommodated. Our schedule is extremely complex as we make our return and excessive changes will create problems that could potentially impact our ability to return students to school safely. In addition we will stop accepting block change requests after Monday, February 22nd at 3:00 PM. We apologize if this creates an inconvenience, but the safe return of our students is our top priority and these changes will have a negative impact on our ability to safely return.
Practices for Season 2 begin on Monday, February 22nd for boys’ and girls’ soccer, volleyball, and cross country. Football practice has already begun. All of these programs are looking for more students to come out and participate, especially girls’ soccer. Please note that we are not charging any athletic fees this year to participate. Please consider playing a sport this winter. It’s a great way to reconnect with friends and will provide an outlet from the stress of school. Please contact our athletic director Mrs. Wartenbee if you have any questions.
Season 2 for athletics is very nearly here! In fact, football practice has already begun and we will begin having practice for volleyball (modified practice schedule based on county risk level), boys and girls soccer and cross country on Monday, February 22nd. Please be on the look out for posts and announcements from the respective coaches from each program about practice times and game schedules.
Please remember that in order to participate in athletics you must be signed up in Family ID and have a current physical on file with the school. One special announcement that we are excited to share is for this year there will be NO ATHLETIC FEES! We are hopeful that by waiving the fees it will encourage more students to participate and get involved with EHS athletics. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to call the front office at 541-935-8200 or to email our athletic director Sarah Wartenbee at swartenbee@fernridge.k12.or.us

The Covid-19 numbers in Lane County are beginning to improve and we are making plans to return to in-person instruction on a hybrid A/B schedule. While those plans are being finalized we do need to know if there are any families that do not plan to return to the building when in-person learning returns. We asking any family that does NOT plan to return to the building to contact us directly here at the school so that we can make alternative plans for providing content. Please call us at 541-935-8200 or email at rgardner@fernridge.k12.or.us
