Returning Student Registration

Please note: For registration purposes incoming 6th graders from Veneta or Elmira Elementary are considered returning students. Returning students who plan on enrolling in the FRSD Options should follow the steps below.

1. Digital Registration Online – 

          Returning students: Follow the Returning Student online registration link on below and to the right under Quick Links to register. If you’ve forgotten your username/password, click on “Forgot my username or password” after opening Home Access. Your new password will be sent to your email address and then you may proceed with the registration process.

2.  Paper Registration – 

•  Get the packet: Paper registration packets for Returning students will be available for pick up at your child’s school beginning Thursday, August 20th. 

•  Complete: Please complete all of the forms in the packet 

•  Return: Submit your enrollment packet to your child’s school during registration times below. You may also scan your completed registration packet and submit it to your child’s school via email  at frmsoffc@fernridge.k12.or.us or fax  (541) 935-8234.

   3. Schedule an appointment with your school-

        Contact FRMS at 541-935-8230 to set up an appointment to complete paperwork in person during registration times. We will be limiting the number of people in the gym at one time, so you may be asked to wait outside until it is your turn. Masks must be worn inside the building. Social distancing must be observed while you are waiting to get inside the gym as well as in the gym.

Returning Registration Dates for 2020-2021

Tuesday, August 25th (All students K-8) 7:00 am to 7:00 pm

Wednesday, August 26th (All students K-8) 8:00 am to 3:00 pm

Thursday, August 27th (All students K-8) 8:00 am to 12:00 pm

 Planners: One of our key goals at middle school is to teach students how to be organized. For that reason, we require all FRMS students to have planners. Planners will be used for both distance learning and onsite instruction this year. In the past, planners were included in our $10 registration fee. This year we are waiving our $10 Student Body Registration Fee. If you would like to purchase a FRMS Planner for your student, we will be selling them for $5 each. They will be for sale in the office. You are also welcome to provide your child with a different planner for them to use.

Yearbooks and P.E. Shirts will not be sold during registration. Information on when and how 19-20 yearbooks can be picked up will be coming soon.
