KITS

KITS is a research-based summer program designed to enhance social and academic school readiness for kids who will enter kindergarten.

To attend kindergarten next year, students must be age 5 by September 1st. 

The Sluggo reading challenge kicked off today, with a visit from Sluggo himself!

Info is coming home with your student about how to complete the challenge to earn 2 *free* tickets to see the Eugene Emeralds play!

We’ve been sooo lucky to have Ms. Jen as our artist-in-residence, teaching us how to play ukulele!

All classes have 4 sessions, and have learned so much in such a short time!

This week is Classified Appreciation Week! We are so grateful for our instructional assistants, secretaries, custodians, and kitchen crew!

Students submit eagle slips into a drawing to participate in the assembly challenge each month – if they are drawn, they get to pick a friend and a teacher to compete against. This month’s challenge was the stacking pennies with one hand. After an elimination round, Mrs. Skenzick was the winner!
