What is CATCH?

Fern Ridge School District is pleased to announce their participation in the CATCH program. This is being funded through grant dollars and Lane County Public Health.

Each elementary school will receive over $3,000 worth of new P.E. equipment and Health curriculum materials.

The grant also includes money to support the implementation of the program throughout the year.

Some important information about what CATCH will look like in our schools:

• The 1^st Wednesday of every month = CATCH Day
  • Students will be encouraged to wear active wear clothes
  • Teachers will be teaching specific CATCH Lessons
• We will be planning a CATCH Family Night in January
• Our cafeteria will be incorporating CATCH components in the cafeteria and on our menus
