Hello Families!
I can’t believe we’re in the final stretch of the school year! It feels like there’s still so much left to accomplish. March was a busy month—we held our annual 5th Grade Track Meet! Huge thanks to Jennie Herbert and our 5th grade teachers for making this tradition possible, even in the rain. We also completed our Iditaread Race and read a total of 54,270 minutes as a school—WOW!
Chalk the Walk & Auction
First up, we’re planning our annual Chalk the Walk & Auction event on May 9th from 5:00-7:30. This event is a big one, and we’ll need a lot of help—including volunteers and donations. Please keep an eye out for the ParentSquare sign-up. If you have donations—whether items, services, or monetary contributions—please reach out to me or the PTA. All donations are tax-deductible! Let’s rally together and get as much community involvement as possible.
State Testing – Go for the Gold!
Next, we’re gearing up for state testing. We want our students to feel confident and prepared. Attendance will be critical during the month of April. Teachers will communicate testing dates with you directly. During this time, it’s especially important for students to get plenty of rest and eat a healthy breakfast. This year’s theme is “The Olympics”—Let’s go for the gold, Eagles!
Upcoming Fun Events!
We’ve got a lot of exciting events coming up, including:
- Our annual Talent Show
- Secretaries Day – wear pink to celebrate!
- Spirit Day – dress in your favorite color!
- Parent-Teacher Conferences
… and so much more!
Thank you all for your continued support. Go Eagles!
