The Elmira Cheerleaders are hosting a camp for grades K-8 on Saturday, October 13th from 10 AM – 1:30 PM in the high school gymnasium the cost is $25.  Please fill out the attached form and bring it with you on Saturday.  Cheer Camp Sign Up Form  In addition there will be a Papa’s Pizza Fundraiser on Monday, October 15th at the location on West 11th in Eugene.  Please use the attached flyer to help support our cheer program that day.  Papa’s Pizza Flyer

Thursday, October 11th and Friday October 12th are no school days for students.  Thursday the 11th is Parent/Teacher Conferences and Friday the 12th is the State In-Service Day.  The main office is closed both days.

Parent/Teacher Conferences are Wednesday, October 10th from 4:00 – 8:00 PM and Thursday, October 11th from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM.  Wednesday’s conferences will be held in the cafeteria and do not require an appointment, Thursday’s conferences are by appointment and will take place in classrooms.  To make an appointment for Thursday you can either call the main office at 541-935-8200 or e-mail a teacher directly.  We look forward to having parents on campus those two days and hope you will join us to meet with your student’s teachers.

Wednesday, October 10th will be Testing Day at Elmira High School.  All freshman, sophomore, and junior students will be taking either the Explore or PSAT exam that day, while seniors will be engaged in a variety of post graduation preparation activities.  Wednesday the 10th is an early release day and school will end at 1:25.  If you have any questions about our schedule and plan for that day do not hesitate to call the office at 541-935-8200.

The EHS Athletic Hall of Fame Committee is now taking nominations for our 2019 class.  Nomination forms can be found in the high school office or at the following link.  EHS Athletic Hall of Fame Nomination Forms  Nominations are due by November 1, 2018.  More information about our banquet and other activities will be available as the induction date draws nearer.

Homecoming Week is September 24-28.  We have a fun week of activities planned culminating with our annual parade at 4:00 and football against Junction City at 7:00 PM.  The homecoming dance is Saturday, September 29 at 8:00 PM in the high school cafeteria.

The Elmira High School class of 1973 will be our special guest tonight at our home football game against Philomath.  We are excited to have these alums with us tonight.

Due to poor air quality in Grants Pass our football games at North Valley have been moved to Elmira.  The JV game will be played at 4:00 PM with the varsity to follow at 7:00 PM

Our annual Open House to begin the school year is on Thursday, September 13th at 5:15 PM.  We hope you will join us that evening to learn about our school, meet our great staff, take a tour of the campus, and stay and watch our volleyball team.  It promises to be an informative evening and we hope you can make it on September 13th.
