Elmira High School will be inducting a new class into the Athletic Hall of Fame this weekend. The festivities begin on Friday night as we introduce our new class at the boys’ basketball game and continue on Saturday with a dinner and induction ceremony. Everyone is welcome to join us for dinner on Saturday. The ceremony and dinner will be held in the EHS cafeteria and guests should park in the north parking lot on the backside of the school, tickets are $10 at the door and the doors open at 6:00 PM with the ceremony beginning at 7:00 PM.
Please join on Wednesday, January 11th at 6:00 PM in the EHS theater for a performance by our guitar class, choir, and band. It will be a great show that highlights the talents of our music students!
The EHS Drama Club will be hosting their Winter Showcase performance this Thursday and Friday, January 5th and 6th. The doors open at 6:00 PM and the show starts at 6:30 PM. Admission is $5. We hope you can join us!
Elmira Grad Night will be having a fundraiser at Papa’s Pizza on West 11th in Eugene on Wednesday, December 21st. Please bring the attached flyer with you that day.
Please join us on Thursday, November 17 from 5:45-6:15 for an all winter sports parent meeting. This meeting will take place in the EHS main gym and will give you important information about the upcoming winter sports’ season. Joel Smith our Assistant Principal/AD will be giving a short presentation to all the parents and then parents will break out to specific team meetings with their children’s team.
Please join us for the return of our annual Junior vs Senior Powderpuff Football Game. The gates open at 6:00 PM with kickoff at 6:30 PM. Admission will be $5 and there will be concessions available. It should be a great night, please consider bringing the family for a fun evening!
Registration for winter sports will begin on Saturday, October 29th. Families can begin accessing Family ID on that day. There are no athletic registration fees for EHS in-person and Options students. Home school students, West Lane Tech and other non-EHS students will need to pay the $125 registration fee in order to participate.
Lane Community College is hosting a presentation on Women in Trades on Wednesday, November 16th from 4:00-6:00 PM. Please refer to the attached flyer for more information.
EHS will have picture retakes on Monday, October 17th in the morning. Students should have received a picture packet in their homeroom last week. If you have any questions please call the front office at 541-935-8200.
