Just yesterday the district was able to finalize the card reader and electronic locking hardware installation at the gate to the EHS athletic facility.  A team of folks met to identify the hours it will be open (disregard what the sign currently says at the facility).  Below is that information.

On non-school days and weekends, the facility will be open to the public from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, as long as there is not a district approved activity taking place. The gate will automatically unlock and lock at those times.

On School days, the facility will unlock at 6:00 AM, and relock at 8:15 AM prior to the start of school.  The gate will again unlock at 3:30, and remain unlocked until 10 PM for community use, again, when the facility is not being used for for a district approved activity.  

When it is dark outside, safety lighting will be on at the buildings, but the field lights will not be on.  In the coming weeks and months we will review how this is working, and take feedback before finalizing our "open hours" and updating our signage.
