Elmira High School’s Career Education students recently participated in one of the most meaningful experiences of the semester—Mock Interviews—and the impact was truly powerful.
This hands-on opportunity brought real-world relevance to the classroom as students practiced professional communication, strengthened their confidence, and engaged in conversations with adults they had never met before. The mock interviews created a safe and supportive space for students to try, learn, reflect, and grow—helping them feel more prepared and assured as they move toward future internships, jobs, and post-high-school pathways.
We are deeply grateful to the community members who joined us. Your presence helped make this experience into something authentic, memorable, and genuinely impactful for our students. And thank you to Ms. Slager for organizing this activity for our EHS students!
