The 2026 Elmira High School Career and Job Fair emphasized relationships, rigor, and relevance by providing our juniors and seniors a meaningful opportunity to connect with colleges and employers both locally and throughout Lane County. All students engaged in conversations about career aspirations, explored relevant pathways, and sought current job openings across a variety of fields.

With over 35 tables staffed by representatives from colleges, the military, the tech industry, local businesses, career support organizations, temp services, and the trades, students experienced real-world exposure that reinforced the relevance of their academic work. Seniors also participated in mock interviews with local business professionals, adding a layer of rigor to their preparation while building valuable relationships with industry partners.

As a result, several seniors received job offers on the spot based on the strength of their resumes and interview performance, demonstrating the powerful impact of connecting learning to real-world opportunities.
