Vicky Picture

Today we say farewell to Vicky Boggs who has been our kitchen lady for the last nine years. Vicky has been a beloved member of our VES family. Vicky is leaving us to embark on new adventures. Vicky has been known in our school for her deep love of all things Oregon Duck. To show our appreciation for her, we decided to make her last day a sea of green and yellow.

Thank you Vicky for nine great years. We will miss you.

Open House kidsFamilies are invited to our annual Open House on Thursday September 25th from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. Our wonderful parent group PALS will provide ice cream for everyone. We will be selling Smencils and T-Shirts/Sweatshirts in the gym before and during Open House. Gym doors will open at 6:00. Classrooms will not open until 6:30. Please enter through the gym for Open House.

Open House is a great opportunity to visit your child’s classroom and meet your child’s teacher. However its not the right time or place to have individual conversations about your child’s needs. If you want to talk about your child privately, please feel free to call the school to make an appointment with your child’s teacher.

We look forward to seeing all of you at our Open House and celebrating the start of another great school year.
