EHS ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME NOMINATIONS BEING ACCEPTED NOW!!! http://www.fernridge.k12.or.us/e…/ehs-athletic-hall-of-fame/

Last school year, EHS Administration in conjunction with the Booster Club and volunteers, developed a framework to create an EHS athletic Hall of Fame. The first class will be inducted early in 2017. The deadline to apply for this first class is rapidly approaching.
EHS must receive all applications by Nov 1st, 2016. For more information, visit the link on the EHS website.

CONSTRUCTION WILL CAUSE SOME CHANGES TO THE START OF THE YEAR!

The construction taking place at EHS is going well, and on track to be completed ahead of the scheduled completion date of mid-December. However, it will still impact us for the first couple months of the school year. Our current plan is described below. This MAY get adjusted as the school year draws closer. We will attempt to inform parents and students through the district website, use of the phone dialer, as well as the Principal Carpenter Facebook page.

The front entrance (the steps) to the school will be blocked off, and access or exit will not be permitted in this area.
Students that drive: Students that drive will park in the normal student parking lot, however they will access the school by entering through the main football field gate and walking around the backside (East side) of the gym.
Office access: Parents that need to access the front office will park in the office staff parking area, which is the South West lot immediately West of the front office. Access to the front office will be from the door that will be labeled with a sign, and identified with 2 orange cones.
Bus Drop-off and Pick-up: This will be taking place in the back (North) parking lot. All students that ride the bus will be dropped off and picked up in the back lot.
Parent pick up of students: This will occur as it has before, the only difference being students will be exiting the building and entering the parking area from the main football field entrance.

We thank you for your patience during this difficult transition. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the school.

Due to construction, access to the main office is limited.  In general, we will be open 8-4 and the best place to park is in the small lot immediately West of the front office area.  There is an Orange cone with an “EHS OFFICE” sign that will direct  you to the proper door if you need information or to drop off any paperwork with the bookkeeper.  Feel free to call if you have questions, the EHS Secretary returns to work on Monday, August 15th.  Before then you can reach the bookkeeper at extension 278, the AD at extension 274, or Mr. Carpenter at extension 201.  Go Falcons

Athletic Registration, this Thursday Night from 5:30-7:30, has been moved to the Cafeteria. Please park in the North Lot.

For those that need sports physicals, and would prefer a low-cost/local option, Dr. Gofourth will be conducting them at FRMS from 10:00-4:00 on Monday, August 8th for $20.00.

Athletic Registration is rapidly approaching.  It is scheduled for Thursday, August 4th, from 5:30-7:30 in the EHS Library.  Due to construction, please park in the back (NORTH) lot.

If you cannot attend on this day/time due to a conflict, the appropriate paperwork can be picked up anytime after the 4th from the EHS office.  In addition, all updated paperwork for 16-17 is now available on the EHS website under the athletics secretary link on the right hand side of this page.

The first day of Fall practice is Monday, August 15th.  To be eligible to participate on Monday, all paperwork must be completed and turned in by Friday the 12th at noon.
