Local financial assistance programs for utilities

EPUD PAYMENT ASSISTANCE

If your household income has been impacted by the coronavirus pandemic, the following assistance programs may be able to help.

HELPING HANDS – Eligible customers can receive up to $300 credited to their EPUD account. To apply, contact the agency nearest you:

Springfield Catholic Community Services – 541-747-8349

Eugene Catholic Community Services – 541-345-3642

ERAP – Eligible customers can receive $300 spread out at $75 per month for four months. This program is available to households of senior or disabled persons, or child(ren) aged 18 and under. To apply for this program, contact:

Lane County Human Services Commission – 541-682-3378

Mid Lane Cares Emergency Assistance for housing emergencies and utility shut offs, call 541-935-0948 with your name and number to schedule an appointment.

Help with Basic Needs and Food

Open 2nd and 4th Sat each month 9:30-12p.m.

*PRAY BIG! Pantry:  4110 River Rd (St. Mathew’s Church)  541-689-4010

Open 5:30-7 p.m. second Tues of the month and 10-11:30 a.m. the last Sat.

 

Love Project Food Pantry

Open Mon-Wed-Fri 10:00-11:30 a.m. and again from 12:30-2:00 p.m. We are also open on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-7:30 pm. The direct line is 541-935-4555 ext. 104. Corinne Newstrom, manager. Located in the Fern Ridge Service Center.

Catholic Community Services Food Pantry

Food Pantry: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9am- 12 pm for food box distribution

NAACP/Food For Lane County 

330 High Street Eugene Oregon

4:30-6:30 pm on Tuesdays

Drive through pick up for pre-bagged groceries.  No documentation required and is available to any household at 300% of national poverty guidelines.
